The good: Huge beautiful double doors, I love sunlight! No major pest problems, even though the apartment is older it is clean and generally well kept up (fresh coat of paint and new carpet when I moved in). Reasonably spacious, great location.
The bad: The rent is pretty high - I push $850/month when I include paying the bills, for no washer/dryer in complex (I hate laundromats!), no dishwasher, no garbage disposal. Weak sauce. They are also REALLY slow about repairs, and require constant heckling to get things done, which frankly I really just don't have time for most of the time.
The ugly: The shower. Yes, they do paint the tub and tiles, and yes, it will start peeling about 2 months after you move in. They have so far refused to fix mine, so my shower looks like it has psoriasis.
