There are cats everywhere. It is disgusting how people just let their cats roam all over the place. I cannot believe that there are no restrictions on these cats. If you don't like cats or are allergic then don't live here because they are everywhere. They even bring them up to the pool with them and they let their cats bother people that have no interest in them. It is sick!!!

To the person that wrote this review. You're an idiot. there are more things to worry about when looking for an apt then cats. geez.

Then you all must be lucky to not live near the people that have a ton of cats. I swear one apartment alone has about 10 cats there! And if you don't believe me, just go to the pool sometime because one resident likes to bring her cats with her!
And if you hate cats and are allergic to them, then yes, you do look at that when you are looking for a place to live. So apparently this idiot will trade apartments with you and see if you like it - or maybe you just own all the cats!

It is actually against the health code to bring animals of any kind (expect service animals) in a designated pool or recreational area. First you should notify the apartment leasing office every time you see residents bring animals in the pool area, let them handle the issue for you. They can fine the residents who break the rule. Second, if they can not or do not address the health code issue, call the state health department and file a formal complaint against the complex and the property management company. That will require the leasing office to get serious.

There is a limit to the number of pets allowed per apartment at the Marquis (not to mention an nonrefundable pet deposit and additional rent PER PET.)I can guarantee it is against the rules to have 10 cats in one apartment. If it bothers you so much, you should absolutely report it to the office. Also, I go to the pool almost every weekend, and have never seen a cat. Seriously, are you sure you are writing about the correct apartment complex?

OMG there is a lady who has like 10 cats that run all over the place coughing up hair balls on peoples door steps. The apartment Management does nothing about it!

There is one cat lady in the apartment who drives a cyan convertible who leaves her garage door open or cracked who definitely has more than two cats. I've seen/heard her on several roundups as she walks around calling them. Gigi, Oscar, Houdini... I live down the aisle from her two or three building clusters so it's not an issue for me. I see them lying in driveways sometimes, but I've never felt it was an issue. I actually like having her, adds character to the complex (plus those roundups are hilarious).

I am considering renting at Marquis. While the 'cat lady' may not be that big of a deal, it certainly is quite telling of the attitude of the management that they have allowed this to happen and go on for so long. Not sure I want to rent somewhere that this kind of negligence is allowed/accepted by the very people who are there to keep order.

I know the 'cat lady' personally. She is the most consciencious and reliable person I know. In complete honesty, I would NOT have renewed my lease if it weren't for her. It's great to live here, but it is expensive. AND it is more difficult to find a caring person to take care of your pets as good as you would yourself (like she does) than finding another place to live. When I leave town for weeks at a time, I have complete peace and CONFIDENCE in knowing that they are not only being cared for, but are receiving love as well. She is a God-send for many of the other people who live here in the apartment complex who count on her as well to care for and love their pets. I/WE NEED HER!
