New Management- very scary!

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004
I lived here for a year and a half and really enjoyed it. I moved out a month after the new management took over and I'm having a terrible time getting anything done with my deposit. First, I heard nothing within the 30-day period, so I called. I waited for them to return my call, but eventually had to track them down. They notified me that I, in fact, owed THEM a ridiculous amount of money on top of my deposit! Somehow the statement of deposit got lost in the mail... and miraculously appeared back at their office later that afternoon!
Anyway, I loved this place under the prevoius manangement, but now it's very sketchy.
