WOW'' I have to say I was shocked to see the poor review for my office and maintenance staff. The staff in our office is very accomodating and maintenance is top notch. They complete EVERY work order within 24 hours each week. That is pretty impressive anyway, but exceptional for a 400 unit property. Anyone on my staff (which has been in place since November) is always willing to help a resident, deliver a package or explain anything residents might have a question about. There is not ANY apartment complex anywhere that should allow their maintenance staff to work on a/c 's after it is dark outside. This can be extremely dangerous with the high voltage and not being able to see the outside unit. If this a/c was called in even at 7:00pm they would have addressed the situation. Since we have taken our this community we have upgraded many thoings here on property and actually have working lights at our beautiful pool to enjoy in the evening. Gievn out breakfast twice early on a friday morning to say "Thank you" to our residents. We have had a resident party in March catered by ZIN. We have also planned a mid-summer party that will be hosted by 101X.

I do not live at this complex. I'm actually looking at reviews as part of finding a good complex to live in Austin. I am amazed that the manager would post on a site like this, not once but twice sofar and I'm still on the front page. Sites like this are for tenants, not managers, who can obviously skew the data results of such polls. And the statement about not working on ACs at night. That is crazy. I currently live in Louisiana where AC is a must 10 months of the year, and my parents manage a nice complex in Mississippi where it is also muggy, if your AC does not cool and it is hot outside, management here fixes or tries at least to fix the AC immediately no matter what time it is. Obviously if it isnt 'hot' outside, it'll wait until the next day, but not fixing things because of crazy reasons like its dark is ludicrous. Thats why they call it 24hr emergency maitenance. I won't be renting at this place. Thanks for the advice. Daryl in Baton Rouge, LA moving to Austin. |
