I've been living at GHV for the last 3.5 years, and have experienced both the previous private management team, as well as the new Lincoln Properties team.

I have to disagree with the negative reviews on this site, and I commend Lincoln Properties for making improvements to the property. They installed lighting to numerous outdoor areas, installed more BBQ pits and benches, and are even renovating the swimming pool area even though it looks great. The always have new landscaping/flowers too.

The management team has always been very quick to respond to my work orders, mostly same day, and they even put in a work order at my request to have trees in front of my window trimmed to not block my view. The staff has always been friendly and efficient also. They stand by the gate and hand out free breakfasts every now and then, even in the cold.

I really sympathize with the management team for having to put up with the idiots(not necessarily residents) who try to squeeze in the residents entrance while the gate is closing, and damage the gate. This used to happen every month or so, and I'm sure the repair costs aren't cheap.

To summarize, I've had a great experience staying at GHV, and intend to stay as long as I can. In fact, even with the cheap interest rates, staying at GHV is so comfortable that I've put off getting a house. The location is excellent, and the pool area is awesome. I'd recommend this place to anyone.
