I currently live at the GHV, and I love the grounds and the appartments. However, the office staff is horrible. The girls in the office are extremely catty and incompetent. The office staff lost a package of my contacts worth $60. I went to the post office and saw that the GHV office had actually signed for the package. When I brought them the documentation, they said they were not responsible and that we should consider it a courtesy that they accept packages for us.

When we first moved in we were suprised to find out our rent was $50 more than what we were told and what we signed on the contract. When we looked again at the contract, she had scribbled out what was quoted and wrote in the new rent and told us it was a mistake, and that the first price (that we both signed on) was the price of some other appartment we looked at.

I have a pet, and I take very good care of my appartment, but I will not be suprised when I don't get my deposit back. I have 2 freinds that used to live here, and they both told me that GHV is notorious for NEVER getting your deposit back.

Maintenance is reliable, but not efficient. Our AC has gone out 3 times!
