When I rented here I specifically asked if the apartments were built to condo specs (meaning thick concrete walls). They told me yes. It is obviously not, since my upstairs neighbor sounds like she herds cows in her apartment. If you want a quiet apartment, this is not the place for you. But the pool is really cool.

When you call to have them fix things, they usually come out promptly, however there is no follow up - you have to call to get a status. Today, I have no water. When I called, they knew about it and said it was being fixed, but again, I had to call. There was no notice or courtesy call. I would think not having water in your apartment would be a large enough issue for them to notify their tenants.

The new management is obviously making big changes to the complex, but not telling us what is going on. Or sending out a letter the day before something happens, giving you no prep time. I got a letter saying Time Warner was coming to drop a cable line in the kitchen, and I would not need to do anything in preparation. What they were in fact doing was changing something to make it wi-fi enabled and I had to move around the furniture in my bedroom (not kitchen). Looks like the possibility of us having to switch to Time Warner for internet may be looming. There are also trees tagged in the front - hopefully they aren't cutting them down!

Lastly is the rent. I got a good deal on my lease from the old management, but when I renewed they increased it by $50. If I were to renew again it would have increased $100 (this is the new management). It increases even more ($200) if I want them to install granite countertops in the kitchen and a flat panel tv'! Needless to say I'm moving out.
