In reference to LEAVING - new owners, bad management

I just want everyone to know that the person is incorrect about the stray cats. I live in building 15 and I spent a good portion of last fall spaying and neutering all the stray cats. Lincoln Management was very happy that someone stepped up to help these cats - many of whom were abandoned when tenants moved. I found homes for all 11 kittens last year. This year has produced only one kitten as only one female is left and we are in the process of catching her. We have caught the last kitten and she has a home. We have neutered 2 more males in the last week and there is only one left intact. The noise problem was coming from the 3 unneutered males and their fighting. This will stop quickly as 2 of the 3 have been fixed. One was tame (abandoned) and he is at a vet clinic waiting for adoption.
Give me a few weeks and this situation will be totally under control. The Austin Humane Society is working with me as well as 3 local rescue groups. There are many residents concerned about these cats and I am doing my best to make sure the solution is for the "highest good of all".
And remember everyone --- this complex backs up to a huge greenbelt and there will ALWAYS be wildlife as well as stray cats. There are many possums and raccoons. This is a very animal friendly place and if you don't like dogs, cats, possums, raccoons, etc..., don't live here, move downtown where the only wildlife you see are RATS!
The biggest noise problem I have is the "human" kind.
