During the time that I lived here, the building next to mine burned down. The key to this story is that though the firemen arrived in a very timely fashion, they were helpless to fight the fire because the apartment management had the water main that fed a fire hydrant 10' from the burning building turned off. Also, I moved out, at the end of my lease, on June 07. Martha's Vineyard did not take my name off the electricity account until October. We are still sorting this out. I would never live there again, under any conditions, and would recommend anyone who was considering it, to look elsewhere.
