This rat hole should be condemned.
I lived in the squalor known as Mayfair for 3 years.
This was the epitome of life as a starving artist.
The air conditioner constantly froze solid, even when setting the thermostat at a reasonable 76 degrees.
The leaky pipes were so bad that mold grew in almost every corner, and the toilet in the upstairs bathroom actually FELL through the ceiling.
The floor of the second story was reduced to the structural integrity of a wet piece of posterboard.
Drug addicts and dealers constantly hover around the pay phone on the premises, and the pool is reminiscent of scenes from National Lampoon's Vacation.
The manager was ALMOST NEVER THERE.
If cheap is you're game, then this is tough to beat, but be prepared for what you will suffer for in the long run.
