Metropolis Apartments

Marvelous Things From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/25/2006 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006 2 responses   The Metropolis is wonderful! I am befuddled at all of the poor reviews that I have read here. The place is beautifully landscaped and lit up at night, and the pop art deco walls are a really fun way to brighten the place up. I have never seen anyone skanky hanging around, and have experienced little to no noise. I am a 20 year old female, and felt perfectly comfortable walking around the complex alone with my cat early one morning, or sitting on the patio late at night, watching people come and go from their rooms. Everyone I have met was cordial, fun, and original. There is always someone neat to talk to- whether it's the hippy next door who moved from Louisiana, or the guy who looks like the lead singer of the band Muse, everyone is friendly, and uninteruptive. Artists, the Metropolis beckons. And boring people, well...get out of Austin, because if you thought this was bad, you are going to be sorely dissapointed.
