When my wife and I first moved into this place we thought "wow, it feels like we live in a home instead of an apartment". We loved it, had great neighbors, only one noisy bunch of kids across the way. Our Jack Russel Terrier loved it there because of the many places out back off property where he could run. We have two small children they loved it especially the pool parties in the summer. A year after moving in my wifes previous spinal problems began to worsen due to the stairs, lifting/carrying groceries and toddlers up 1 and 2 flights of stairs was taking it's toll. Her physician advised us to find a place that required no stair climbing as this was compressing her deteriorating spine. We obtained a letter from the physician, took it home and pulled out the copy of our two year lease. It stated that a breaking of the lease was not limited to medical conditions. We breathed a sigh of relief. The next day my wife went to the office with the letter, the lease, and our notice to vacate. She was told by the manager that they would review and get back with us. She was also advised that she could have surgery to fix the problem by the property manager. We finally heard back about 3 weeks later and were told that we had a remaining balance of 96.00. Nothing else was said and when we asked we were told that was it. Our last day was the 5th of the next month, we asked for extra time since I had to do all of the moving due to my wifes condition. I went back to the apartment to begin cleaning. It had been sorted through and our 350.00 Hoover vaccume was missing. I was furious, but the office was already closed. These people have since decided to claim that we owe them 14,000.00 worth of consessions and rent. They have even put it on our credit report. We will have to file with the DA's office and hire an attorney to get it off. These people don't care about you, all they care about is your money. They are a big company that has well paid lawyers. They are trying to extort money from us by weighing our credit over our head. My advise, rent a house. Stay away from this place. We had heard other horror stories when we moved in, from people that were moving out. Stories about them jacking your rent up by 100.00 or more at the end of your lease. The managment has a post on here belittling people through character assasination about why they make derogatory posts, all I can say is there are a lot of pissed off people at this place; if you notice all Mansions apt complexes have an extraordinary amount of posts on this site. That to me says it all. And by the way, corporate fires management and employees at the drop of a hat for not producing. They don't even care about their own employees, how could they possibly care about you as an individual' Management turned over 4 times during our 1 year stay. 4 TIMES!

Sorry to hear about your situation. I wish that all of the people that they have done this to could get together and get a class action suit going.
