We've been here a little over six months and have had nothing but problems here. For starters, the parking is horrible and management won't do anything about the people who park behind our garage because it happens after hours and they don't have anyone here. Secondly, our garage door stuck open one day and we called maintenance and they told us that they would get to it the next day, leaving our house unsecured all night. When we complained and said this was not acceptable, they hung up on us. Everything in these apartments aside from their precious "Club House" is as cheap as it possibly can be. Also, while we were here, the staff sent out a letter complaining about people's kids being too loud while they waited for their bus, and that the parents should remind their children that this is a business and they need to be polite. Wake up! These are peoples homes not a business no wonder why most people get to the end of their lease and leave! Also of note, they only enforce rules when it profits them and don't follow the rules themselves. For instance we once got ticketed for having our garbage out the night before and got notified that we were to only put our garbage out between 6:00AM and 8:00AM M/W/F, (this was right before Christmas so I suspect it was the staff's "bonus" money). Anyway after paying the fine I began setting my alarm for 7:50 so I could get up and put out my garbage, about a third of the time they don't even pick it up now which means I have to drag it all back in before they come around to fine me. Some of the rules that need to be enforced for safety they don't do at all. I've complained about my neighbors smoking pot and they said they couldn't do anything about it and because of the screwy layout of the apartments, I can't tell which number they are in to call the police. Also, they never enforce their pets on lease rule, on multiple occasions my daughter has been outside playing and has had loose dogs run up to her and scare her nearly to death. Last Friday (Feb 27th 2009) Ashley, the leasing director, waived at some lady as the lady was walking around the property with her two unleased dogs. Nothing was said about the pets being off the lease. One other complaint is that we requested our apartment near the children's play area because they love playgrounds, a couple of months back Monterone removed it because they didn't want to pony up to repair it. Other problems we've encountered are a broken security system that didn't get fixed for over 3 months, doors getting stuck closed, shower valves that were stuck hot and many other minor maintenance issues that wouldn't happen if they used quality materials in the first place. The grounds are a complete mess, dog feces and trash are everywhere. The only bright thing at this apartment is Saul and Sarah, the couple that run the "Cares" team, they usually do some community get together about twice a month. Saul and Sarah are very friendly people to deal with but the rest of the staff is extremely rude. Conclusion, we're done with our lease this summer and can't wait to get out of here. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone but the cockroaches.
