Do NOT come here!!! The place is infested with mold and asbestos. The city came out yesterday and told the place to clean up the mold in the apartment next to me. It's been vacant for two months before I moved in and was flooded at that time. Apparently, the mold has had two months to grow in there! Also, we were told that the place is infested with asbestos. My neighbor told me that they have had breathing problems ever since they've been here. The pool looks like the black lagoon. All my neighbors told me nothing ever gets fixed here. I tripped on a hose yesterday left out by "maintenance". The place is very noisy for having so little tenants. Most of the apartments seem vacant. Now I know why. The washer and dryers in the laundry room never work. I was told by another resident it is due to the owner not paying the company that has them. There is a large dog that barks all the time.

Asbestos is commonly found in the older complexes/buildings. It was used before everyone knew how bad it was. The apartment management lets us know that it MAY have been used and that there MAY be mildew before we even move in. It was in my lease and was probably in yours as well. If it were a major concern for me, I would have left upon reading that in the lease. I have no mold or mildew, mt neighbors are nice and quiet, the management is repairing all vacant apartments and many new tenants are moving in. I have been happy.

I have lived at North Castle or "Teracina" for two over years. The new management is doing a good job and fixing a lot of things, but I am afraid there is a mold problem some of my walls are squishy and my ceiling is brown where water comes in when it rains. I never have allergies but since I lived here I get sick all the time and if I'm at home for too long i get a terrible headache. The pool is clean now, at least the new management has that going for them. That still isn't enough to raise the rent from $489 to $729
