Since I moved in two years ago, I find that there are people paying almost $200 more than me. Are you nuts'' As long as we are willing to go out and pay over $1 per SF, then it will only go higher. STOP IT PEOPLE!!

This place has not had sufficient hot water to about 2 or 3 buildings for almost 4 months now. I was originally told that I was the only one who had complained. Only to find out that CWS has already tried to get bids to fix the problem. Why get bids for a problem that no one has complained about.... hmmmm.

I have since found out that they said the same thing to others. They are stalling and they have not offered one tiny bit of compensation since it started. We still get billed full price monthly.

Now we're told that we will get things fixed in the middle of January.
We will be out of ALL WATER for 3 days and cannot wash dishes or clothes for a WEEK after that. Who knows when it will be drinkable after all the decalcification crap continues to run through the lines.

My lease is up in a couple of months and cannot wait to get out.

I couldn't agree more about the hot water situation. I lived there for five and a half years. Back when Archstone still owned it, the management was pretty upfront about the problem (the boiler). I was told it happens every fall/winter when the complex is at full capacity because of the unaware college students rushing to rent from such a "nice-looking" complex. Little do they realize that they'll be sharing a small tank of hot water between hundreds of other people. I still remember those cold morning showers! Brrr. Thankfully, it gets better in the summer when most students are gone. But you'll have the mosquitoes to contend with then. :-D
