Yes, the electric bills have gone up . . . if you take the extra 5 minutes to look at the back of your bill you will see the City of Austin raised there cost. For a 720 sq ft apartment, on the 3rd floor, with vaulted celings in an older apartment, the average electric bill on property is 200 dollars. That's very typical. Maybe not keeping your AC unit on 70 degrees will help keep it cooler (ac wont have to work as much) and your electric bill will be lower.

Yeah, my electric bills at Oak Hollow used to be 200 dollars or so. Then I moved to a new place and, without any changes in lifestyle, my bill dropped to about 70 dollars. Perhaps an inefficient AC is to blame?
