Pretty ratty, maintainence can take a month to respond to a *leak*

Lived here for a year - picked the place because of the trees and the creek. Our unit was much rattier than the model I was shown. On move-in, there was a leak in the toilet that had flooded one room. To their credit they did respond to that one within an hour or so.
Back porch reeked of smoke from previous occupants. Fixtures and faucets and such worked. Window broken when we moved in. Once a neighbor upstairs had a leak, and it was flowing into our bathtub from the ceiling, and going down one wall and coming out an electrical outlet! Called this one in... it didn't happen again, which was lucky, because a MONTH later, maintainence guys knock on the door and ask about the leak!
The noise was horrible, but like all austin apartments, they hire guys with insanely loud leafblowers to walk the grounds once a week. They will also do construction starting at 7:30 am, so sucks to be you if you don't work 8-5. People often played car stereos loudly in the parking lots.
And they never sent me my deposit back, nor the letter required by law to tell you how they spent it if they kept it. Half my fault for not following up, but still.
