You get what you pay for/so-so

I've lived here six months and am moving out because I'm trying to save money, so I'm moving with a friend. At $600 a month, my one-bedroom is very cute, I love the area, but I do have frequent maintenance problems. I find the staff is overall helpful, but my patio door got shot out with a BB and I've had at least a week or two of serious problems with my water heater. I also occasionally find a cockroach. It's been a weird experience (for example, every time I leave my patio open, my neighbor's two cats come in) and I wish they would better light the walkways, but overall, eh... the response time on my maintenance problems was quick, and the setting is very pretty and peaceful... I just think that for $600 a month, I might be able to get more amenities and newer apartments at other complexes. But considering I had no credit and job when I moved here being a recent graduate, the staff was super helpful and went way out of their way to approve me, thank god.
