I just moved in about 2 weeks ago and already I depise the place. I lived on riverside and it was ghetto but the office staff was never this bad. From the minute I stepped in I already encounter lots of problems. You would think that they would have the decency to have everything ready to go. Well, the freezer smelled like rotten eggs and yellow stains all over. I told them about it and it took them about a week to do something about it, but only to find out they doused it heavily with bleach, to the point where I could not put my food in. The faucet tub does not work and still does not work properly even after they fixed it. And the stove top has one setting and thats high! When I told them about it, they had the audacity to ask me if tried turning it all the way to see if it would go lower. Do I have "stupid" written all over my forehead' So maint. came in and then writes me a letter saying that my stove is in perfect working condition. Duh! Of Course it is! However, the stove top still has one setting! Which is high! How do you cook on just high' Does anyone know' Hmmmm.... they are going to send someone over to see what the problem is.... so we shall see won't we' I would recommend finding some place better unless you like dealing with office staff on a daily basis.

MOVE!! Try crying and screaming at maintenance if it makes you feel superior. Probably best for you, move to a really expensive place that will cater to your every whim. Oh yes, GROW UP.

Smarty pants - We are slaves to the lease we signed with you . The prospects must know the truth about Oak Hollow so that they can align their expectations - a chance that lnprncss79 and never had,

I've lived in many complexes over the years and while they didn't cater to my every whim, they at least responded to maintenance requests in a timely manner and FIXED the problems. That doesn't happen here and it's not an unreasonable request. And we're not really slaves to the leases we sign. The apt complex can just as easily break a lease as a resident and people should know they have a right to report problems!

Did the maintenance guy smell like weed when he came to fix your work order? He usually does when he comes to my apartment. Either that or beer.
