I got home tired at 10 PM to find my place *completely* flooded. I called the apartment maintenance and they sent people from a carpet company to dry the place. Those cheap bastards made us stay 4 days with huge fans and dehumidifiers in our place because they didn't want to give us a new carpet.
All our stuff had to be moved back and forth to do the service. Four days later, after the carpet was dry, they entered my apartment to put the pads under the carpet and glue it back to place. They were not kind enough to call me and let me know they were entering my apartment and messing with my stuff.
And by the way, no one asked to refund me for my electricity bill--they used my power outlet to do the service in the apartments downstairs too.
I heard that this happened in another unit a couple of months ago, which is too much coincidence for my taste--probably just terrible plumbing.
Two words for the Oak Ridge staff: Incompetent and rude!
