Good apartments for a reasonable price

I lived at Oak Ridge for little more than a year from 2003-2004 and it was an enjoyable place to stay. Management was courteous and responded quickly to any maintenance issues that came up. It's in a nice neighborhood, close to the bus stop that'll take you to UT and comes at a reasonable rent. The units are big and clean and there's really not a whole lot wrong with the place when I lived there. Nitpicking: There must be a firehouse or hospital nearby, because there was rarely a night that went by where I didn't hear ambulance or fire engine sirens screaming past me. Also, getting on campus from the bus stop can take anywhere from 30-45 min via bus or car. However, the bus stop where Oak Ridge is at is the first one on the route so seating is never a problem.
