I paid my rent regularly. However, staphane didn't update my rent information and posted a note on my door to ask for money. I went to talked with her and showed her the receipt that she gave me when I handed in my cheque. She refused to commit her fault until I showed her my bank statement. Sometimes, I went to the office and asked for helps, she is not friendly. All she will say is "I DON'T KNOW!" Currently, the staff in the office are terrible. Don't live here if you LOVE TROUBLES!

i don't like her either, she lacks some serious manner, but maybe that's just her personality, but still she's dealing with customers and she needs to be more professional. i suggest you write to the managing company and complain about her, i think this company does listen to the residents' feedback.

First, I agree with you. If you want to be treated with friendliness and respect it is usually helpful if you treat the person the same way. At the beginning, every time i went to the leasing office, I always smiles and was polite to the staff. The lady-Cindy who used to work in the office was really nice. Every time I walked in the office, she will ask me if i have any problems in my apartment. If I do have a problem, she will assist me ASAP. She even knocked my door on Saturday after the office hour just because she thought i made a request about the leaking of the fridge which was made by my neighbor. I don't know why she left (maybe too nice to the residents?). The current staffs (all three of them) treat me like a crap but I still smiles and am polite. However, they still treat me like a crap! Then, I am really pissed off. So, take your word in an opposite way: If you are treated like a crap and you should treat the person the same way. I posted a review here! Second, when it comes with different points of views, it will be judgmental. Here is a review talking about ??My?? experience of the management of Oak Ridge Apartments. Here is not a review discussing my attitude to the staff in the leasing office. The review i posted here is based on my points of views because I think the future residents need to know what they may encounter when they move in. If you think the staffs are nice and helpful which is based on ??YOUR?? points of view, you should write another review giving the good responses instead of ??SUGGESTING?? me being nice to the staff.

From experience I have found that if you want to be treated with friendliness and respect it is usually helpful if you treat the person the same way :) If all a person hears from you is criticism and complaining, they probably won't be or act very excited to see you. Actually, when I first met Stephanie, she was short with me as well, and I didn't think she liked me. However, as I have encountered her more and shown interest in her as a person, she has warmed considerably toward me. Most people respond positively when they think they are valued as a person, and it always helps to remember that the staff are people too with lives and problems and issues just like all of us - they're not just people there to fix our problems. I'm not saying this judgmentally or to criticize, I have been guilty myself of treating employees as just a quick way to get what I want, and I have found that it almost never has the desired effect! :)
