I have lived in Oak Run for almost 2 years. Things were great until the new management company took over. I can overlook the maintenance issues, and my vehicle being stolen from the property while parked under a spotlight a few steps from my front door. 3 times now I have recieved threats of eviction 20 days into the month because the mangement staff can't seem to figure out billing/payment data until almost the end of the month. How convenient it is for them that simple mistakes then turn into hundreds of dollars in charges that you're forced to pay 10 days from paying rent again and have no chocie but to pay the exhorbitant sums just so you won't have your stuff tossed into the street over a few dollars of a water bill that THEY overlooked. Oh yeah, your water is also tied to your rent payment but billed seperately and due at a later date. One mistake by them or you and they pay the water bill first, automatically shorting you on your rent and again racking up large fees which they don't tell you about until 2-3 weeks after the fact when they can collect a largerr portion from you. Funny how this NEVER happenned in over a year of residence living here with the previous management staff running things. This place has gone downhill, and being in 78704 doesn't help the property redeem itself any. Don't be fooled by the large floorplans or the mud & dirt track that cuts through the complex that they pass off for a greenbelt trail. Beware!
