Oak Run Apartments
< | >
This place has been my home for a couple of years now. I have read some of the complaints and feel I need to ad my story. Yeah Oak Run is old, I knew that when I moved in, but I find this place to be soothing. I have some of the most incredible neighbors, I guess I should call them friends.
The office staff has changed some faces, and I find them to be as friendly as my neighbors.
I like the changes going on in this place the manager seems to be just as nice as Tiffany and Elissa. I'll get her name the next time I am up there.
If you choose to live here just remember problems are everywhere and maybe this isnt your place, but if you love old oaks and an artist living next to you, you will fit right in.
I wanted to make a fair analysis not just an angry statement or two. I will take the squirrels and the nature than a concrete city anyday.
Your neighbor,

another post written by management. they all have the same theme: "only angry people write here, and of course they are wrong and don't represent most tenants." my response: most people who come here do so with complaints. obviously. but the purpose of this site is to see the types of criticisms former tenants have had and to let us make our own evaluation. we don't need the management to come undercover and denigrate other tenants. i consider that deception. if you are willing to use deception here, where else? if you are confident in your product and services, then let them speak for themselves. there are plenty of places for you to advertise. this site is not one of them. this is a site solely for tenants. at least acknowledge you are management if you must intrude here. |

I agree that 'only angry people write here'. If you're completely satisfied with where you're living, you're not going to be on apartment websites or boasting about it, you tend to just carry on your daily life. People who feel angry about something always have something to say anywhere. I don't see too many people writing graffiti who are just in a bliss about their life and where they live. If you can take the bad with the good, and have the pros out-weigh the cons it's probably not a bad place to live. I have never heard of an apartment complex that every single resident absolutely loved. It's just not going to happen and you can't please everyone. I also think that there are people on these reviews that over dramatize certain situations or occurences. Look at all of these subjectively. I am not management, so don't go assuming that everyone who writes something like this is!

This is just to start of things. I use to think this was a wonderful place also but the management staff are liars and will steal. Nothing is ever fixed in a timely fashion and for every cute little squirrel you see there's ad least 10 RATS when the stars come out. The women in that front office are the most unproffessional group of people. I don't know what's worst, going in to pay my rent or laying traps for the rats on my patio area. Don't move here, the trees aren???t worth it.

hmmm, anonymous. you aren't the managerJ? why would an old tenant come back to this website 11 months later to say: hey, i still liked it? no motive or reason to. only the defensive. again: tenants don't care about other angry tenants. they care about they're apartments. only managers care about managing damage to their reputation. (i see you also put in a plug for yourself: "the manager is so nice ...)
