I've heard a few stories from friends about bad service and I can see that some of the buildings have not been painted on the outside for years. But the location is the best, the trees are nice, and we found a nice townhome with new appliances and laminate floors for a pretty good price. The management has been professional so far. They say after coming in 3 years ago they have been striving for constant improvement of the units and the grounds.

Update: Well I've been in here for 6 months and I love this place. I have a big yard, space, nice furnishings. The maintenance has been pretty consistent, not that I've needed alot with all the new appliances. Come join the community!

Just give it time and you will be regretting the fact that you ever lived there. As far as the management saying they have been "striving for constant improvement....." that "smells" worse than the dog poo. They NEVER strive for anything other than lining their own pockets. Don't say you weren't warned!!!! There are some GREAT properties in the area but OAK RUN is NOT one of them.

I live here, I use the trail, actually, I live on the trail. People pick up their poop. I pick up my dog's poop. I've never had anything but quick courteous service from the front office. Your experience, whatever it may be, doesn't speak for everyone's experience.

Rather than saying there are better apartments in the area, how about some suggestions.
