has its issues. I must say overall I really enjoy living here. I am only moving because my income requires me to do so. I have read some of the other reviews and would disagree with some. The office staff is absolutely awesome. Heidi, Erica (whose my favorite), Angela and Elisa are all great. Now parking can be a pain but walking a bit is good exercise and you can always pay for a reserved spot. We did have some Raccoon problems and it did take a long time to get rid of the little critters. And this was mainly because the raccoons were to smart and stayed away from the traps. Because it is an older community living on the bottom floor can be aggravating if you have noisy upstairs neighbors. You can hear everything. The water yes that is an issue that has frustrated me on more than one occasion. It gets turned off a lot. You're in the shower with a head full of shampoo and the water is gone for hours. It's always some leak that needs to be fixed or a busted pipe. I do feel that the apartments are overpriced but hey if they have people that rent them then so be it. As far as feeling safe here I am a single woman and never felt not safe living here. The community is quiet and everyone around you is friendly (for the most part). Pest control is available once a week if you so desire or need it. I had a problem with the huge water roaches when I first moved in but after a couple of weeks of treatment that problem was solved. The cabinets are older but that did not bother me. I had some water damage and it was taken care right away. Maint is pretty good about getting things done and the guys are friendly and speak english. So if you are looking for a unique place to live with many different floor plans, lots of trees and greenery then this is the place for you.

Why is it every time a positive review appears on here people automatically assume the complex mgr wrote it. I lived there and as I said in my previous review the complex is not perfect, but I enjoyed living there.

Right on..Oak Run staff is great..Louis and Joe are kooky good maint men too. I still live here...wonder if the haters pay their rent on time?
