if you lived here only 3 months, how would you verify these statements to be all lies. Were you around when the AC units broke down consistently Summer of 2006,7? Nope! How about when construction would wake you up between 7-8am every morning? How about when the property manager was fired for embezzling money from the owner? How about when the kitchen was taken away from the residents AFTER the units were all filled and then converted into an apartment to "make some extra money" according the owner. (the separate kitchen was a selling point to get tenants to move in). I knew someone who lived there when the AC units didn't work and all of the rooms were 90 degrees inside the rooms and the owner said "Set the temp for 88 and don't lower the temperature, no matter what." Everyone was angry and some threatened to move out. How about when the owner lived in Dallas and would only come around every few months and the on-site manager was AWOL most of the time and couldn't reach him/them for repairs, etc.? Surely 12 people can't all be wrong, can they? As a resident for 2 years here, I had to park 1 block away alongside the street because there was not enough parking spaces 90 percent of the time. 18 spots i think for 30 units. I think you might need to brush up on your history read other statements made by unhappy tenents, and I don't consider myself a liar, since I endured these "lies"/ horrors you are referring to. Hope the front door lock is fixed. It wasn't for over a year. Are strangers still wandering the halls? It's important for safety's sake since I was mugged less than a block away. Are the bug problems contained?

This "review" is likely posted by the landlady, Machelle Ralls. Compare it with these other faker reviews: http://www.apartmentratings.com/rate/TX-Austin-Park-Avenue- http://www.apartmentratings.com/rate/TX-Austin-Park-Avenue- This sort of low-rent tactic (pun intended) is par for the course for this woman. Move in and you'll learn a lot more.
