I spent about a year in Park Avenue Place. The apartment itself is okay ( a little small , but manageable). The rent is fine, and it is nice to have something come furnished. The manager takes good care of the outside and the area. It comes with cable and wireless internet ( The wireless internet is slow and unreliable).

The major problem here is the owner. She is the most deceitful, two faced, hypocritical
and lying person I have come across in a long time. She lies on a whim, and will do anything to scrimp money off you. She does her best to be manipulative and intrusive. If there are maintenance problems she will come after you and blame you. I would often here her talking to her staff in the hallways about different schemes she was hatching to lure people in.

There is no privacy per se, the walls are paper thin. The baths are shared and this can be annoying if the other person is careless enough to lock you out. She does everything to save money. This means that during the day she turns the AC down and puts it a little higher at night , so often the place is unbearable.
She will do everything in her power to keep your deposit. Make no mistake about that. Its a one time payment.

if you are very lucky you can avoid her for a whole year, but i doubt that its possible. The complex itself would have been okay , if she was not in charge.

Note : A lot of the responses to the complaints about this place have been written by her herself. I can tell because she has this bizzare way of punctuating sentences. Despite what the posts say she has been the manager all throughout.
No matter what your circumstances, DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT move in here you will regret it. If you are in , don't buy into her BS, when she threatens you shes is making stuff up. Call her bluff.
