I have lived here for the past two years when I m studying at UT. Before I moved in here, I actually saw those bad reviews posted by someone who apparently hates our landlord, Machelle Ralls. I have to admit that I was a little worried about these bad comments initially. However, after I talked to Machelle and checked the place out, I know immediately that those are FALSE comments. It s hard to believe that there is a tenant who hates such a caring landlord and this apartment. So, do not believe those slanders and come to see the place yourself. I bet you will find Machalle easy-going, responsible, and caring.

As for the apartment, I have been very happy to live here for the past two years. The following are good things that I find in this apartment:
- Very close to campus (<10 mins of walking)
- All bills paid including cable and wired Internet (not wireless anymore)
- Free parking
- Free laundry on site
- Reasonable rent (close to the cheapest in this area)
- Gated entrances (good security)
- Clean common space (hallway, nice lobby with a piano)
- Availability of either the on-site apartment assistant or landlord

There were really not many things to complain about during the past two years. The slow wireless used to be the main complaint of the apartment, so Machelle has recently replaced the wireless to wired Internet and she is paying for the service. Two rooms are sharing one bathroom for studios, but usually there is no problem if you and your neighbor take turns to clean it. I really can t think of any other major things that I have complained to Machelle. But if you have one, she is really responsive to the emails and she fixes things really fast. The last thing that I want to say is that only a caring landlord would care about the rating and try to respond to those bad comments isn t it' I know that she was so hurt when seeing those false comments, so don t believe those low ratings until you see the apartment yourself. That s also the only advice I can give to those who are looking at this apartment.

this is all so ridiculous. machelle, you've really got a lot of gall. i can't believe you--it's disgusting. please take note of this: these fantastic reviews, all of this flowery talk about how hard-working the landlord is, how much she cares about the tenants--it is so excessive & beyond any reasonable level of praise for this place, there is no doubt in my mind that it was written under the guidance of the landlord herself. DO NOT trust machelle ralls. if your instincts are telling you that it makes no sense to find such wonderful reviews following just behind a list of awful reviews from *actual* tenants, well just trust that instinct--it is correct. please just let this be a testimony to the level of deception in which this lady is willing to partake. don't make an easily avoidable mistake! wish i had taken the time to look into this website before moving in!
