As someone has said they choose tenants. Since our light bulbs often broke up, they didn't plan to low our rent when our lease was close to due. But as I know, they did low some "good" renters' rent to let them stay there. So we moved out.
When they checked our room, they said we would be charged not more than $100 for cleaning. We were happy to accept it. A month later they charged us $192 from our deposit. We think they are cheating us since at that time we could choose to clean it ourselves. We didn't choose to clean it is because we thought it was not much. So we go back to complain. They argued that what they said was the minimum was not more than $100. I regretted not recording her words. When I asked for further explaination, out of our surprise, they damned us dirty and said a lot of damned words. I think why they dared to treat us like this is because they think we are not "good" renters and don't hope us to come back. What I can say is that it is the first time to meet such a lady, such apartment manager.
I confess that the apartment is pretty safe and the environment is also not bad and quiet. But if you are unlucky to be a "bad" renter, be careful!

The Park Apartments, LLC, are a member of the Austin Apartment Association, the Texas Apartment Association and the National Apartment Association. It has been our experience that very often negative comments posted on this website are by residents who have been evicted for non payment of rent or other lease violations or who have never actually lived on the property. Be cautious in assuming the truthfulness of postings by anonymous persons who refuse to disclose their identity.
