Let's be professional about this. Honestly, I DO NOT recommend this apartment to anyone. Like in the reviews above. The management is the worse management I have ever lived in. As for JOYCE, the landlady, of her being racist; She is really nice to us asians who live here, maybe too nice . . .nice enough to treat us as inferiors; as if we didn't understand english or something . . . There are no pets here, but stray cats are EVERYWHERE. The rule is, any cats living here before the "No pets rules" was issued a few years ago . . can stay . . . Joyce has a few friends here to owns cats. SHe doesn't do anything about it. Last I checked, professionalism doesn't involve bias actions. And it's true how she snoops around at night finding anything, I MEAN, anything wrong, in order to FINE you or "threaten" to kick you out. But you think this is the worse side of her... wait until you give her the 30 days notice that you're moving out and not renewing your lease . . . she finds anything necessary to "GET" you. I thought i was on the good side of her's, until i gave her the 30 days notice that i'm going to move out when my lease is over, and the next few weeks, she finds stupid stuff to try to fine me, Like a gatorade cooler on my balcony, and if you try to argue with her, she will threaten to kick you out if you want to argue; so you can't really argue even though you know you did nothing wrong. SECURITY claims to be convenient and protective, but it's totally the opposite, there's a gate code to get in, a gate code to get out. They are constantly changing the exit gate code every couple of months or so. so you're constantly having to know a new code every month or so. She claims to be a christian, but she doesn't act like one. (Bias for her friends, and prejudices against others, racists misbehaviors by acting making you feel inferior) She doesn't need an excuse to blame you for anything. She just does, without any evidence. BUT don't worry, she's nice the first 3 months

The constant changing gate codes helps the Park to have THE LOWEST CRIME RATE in the City of Austin according to the Austin Police Department.

The Park Apartments, LLC, are a member of the Austin Apartment Association, the Texas Apartment Association and the National Apartment Association. It has been our experience that very often negative comments posted on this website are by residents who have been evicted for non payment of rent or other lease violations or who have never actually lived on the property. Be cautious in assuming the truthfulness of postings by anonymous persons who refuse to disclose their identity. We recommend that visiting with current residents onsite is a more reliable method of obtaining third-party opinions about our apartment community and its management. Park Apartments, LLC, Austin, TX

Confirmed. I have never felt such racist tendencies as when talking to these people. I guess they felt comfortable around me since I'm white so they opened up saying things like "those kind of people" or generalizing entire regions of the world with a color. I would have moved out that instant if not for the fact that my lease had months left on it. I really did hate this place. They claim the retired cops on site help keep the crime down but honestly, the whole experience felt like when you're talking to a cop. Living at Park Apartments you will feel: always accused, always guilty, and always at the mercy of some power hungry moron. The only person I would advise to move in here is someone who is bed ridden, and incapable of actually trying to live in any normal capacity. They advise you to ask current residents for advice? I was a current resident for 12 months. 11 of those months, I would have told anyone on a tour to run as fast as they can.
