I have never lived somewhere where the people who work in the office just don't give a rats a*s about anything. The current staff seems to be doinf a better job than all the others before them but I can say that I have requested some things to be fixed around the complex and they are still in same condition! I moved here in Aug of 2006 and am counting down the days I get to leave this hell hole. I don't even know where to start...first let me say the management company doesn't care about you so the office personnel wont either. I called and left three messages for the manager who is over this complex. NEVER got a call back so I sent an e-mail. I was calling to complain about the maintenance workers and the staff. I had mold in my air vents so they decided to paint over them and on my computer and leather gloves while they were at it! I also wanted to let them know that one of the maintenance workers used my daughter restroom and not only left the seat up but didn't flush it.
This so called "manager" decides to respond back via e-mail instead of actually picking up the ph...COWARD! She told me that I was a liar, that her office personnel and maintenance people didn't do that. I guess my 8 yr old daughter has decided she wants to pee like a boy now'
The gym is by far NO gym. The equipment hasn't worked in there since I moved in. I think there are projects better than these (Luxury Apartments). The ghetto kids that run around here like a gang curse like sailors...destroy property and get to hang out by the pool all day unattended. I could go on and on but I just wanted to give anyone who is thinking of living here a little tease of whats in store for them=)

I have to agree, the office staff have no idea how to treat tenants. I recently had to sign a new lease, due to work not giving me much time to look for a new place to live. Anyway I went the month before my last and asked about how much it would be going up, I was told 10 dollars a month. No big deal, said I would come back and sign a new lease when it was time. Well when I came back to resign that 10 became 34 and they also got removed the 100 dollar resigning bonus... and replaced it with a stupid resign party that I had to work durring so I didn't get anything for resigning. I'll be gone when this lease is up.

Good luck...I want to go throw my 30 day notice in their face right now...I hate living here! I think I am going to go run around the neighorbhood now since the gym equipment doenst work=(

I live here too - and I agree with everything you are saying. I've lived here since February and with the 4 managers and even more leasing agents that we've seen, it's a miracle anything gets done. I feel like I'm living in the ghetto, but paying for "luxury." By the way, you should send your maintenance requests in writing so you have a record. If they don't fix your request within a reasonable amount of time, usually 7-10 days, they are "in breech of contract" according to our lease. then they have to let you out of your lease, without any penalties. Just call the Austin Tenant's council - or read your lease carefully. Where there's a will, there's a way.

I don't agree with any of these things, with the excpetion of parents using the pool and playground as baby sitters. That has nothing to do with the management, that has to do with poor parenting. I have lived here since March of 07 and I have only seen 1 manager and 1 assistant manager. . And now there is a new leasing agent. . .
