The tenants were wonderful. Staff friendly. Parking horrible. Noise awful. Poor maintenance. Bad kid problem. The manager began cracking down on some of the mischief that kids were doing, although there was still the occasional knocking on doors and running off when you answered and trash being thrown on the grounds intentionally. Had a hard time seeing where to put the key when unlocking my car door in the parking lot during the early morning/late hours, when I could find parking. I often had to park outside the gated entrance. The worst problem I had was when I left. Having been there 7 years I expected them to replace the carpet, but no, I was told they just cleaned it, and they stuck me with the bill. I complained so then they allocated it somewhat so that I only had to pay a portion of the bill. Shame on them! The carpet was not new when I moved in, or particularly clean. Ditto for the blinds. Why isn't there an age cap for carpet wear' The person moving in after me was an employee, so I figured they were saving money by not replacing the carpet, giving her a major discount, and sticking me with part of the bill. Also it was extremely difficult to get anything repaired competently.
