I lived here for a while and had my vehicle broken into twice, my roomates once, and a friend's once. The theives in this area are so "skilled" I literally parked, went inside for 5 minutes, then came outside to my vehicle missing $300 worth of tools. Unless you are into shady business I would stay away. Nothing but criminals in these apartments, and the one's down the road aren't any nicer.

On a side note, I was on time with my rent every single month I was there, yet when my lease ran out, I was given a 30-day notice. I guess if you complain about crime, you aren't wanted.

The quality of the apartments isn't awful, but that's because maintenance must wait until it is falling apart before fixing.

Walls are paper thin, hope you don't like privacy.

Aside from the criminals, the rest of the people in the apartments are unfriendly and obnoxious.

I seriously doubt any changes have or will be made. It is unfortunately the location and lack of security that makes these apartments one of the worst in Austin.
