been here for a year....

pros:
-abundant parking
-pretty big apartment for the $$$, definitely seek the special deals
-great maintenance, even for the littlest of things
-the new lady in the office is EXTREMELY friendly; has her own gripes about the mgmt company and is very empathetic
-relatively quiet if you have an apt. not along lamar
-friendly neighbors

cons:
-not enough people in the office; i had a package coming and TWICE the delivery failed because no one was there...even 2p (during regular office hours)
-terribly unscenic; semi-ghetto; right next to a very run-down complex with a bunch of shady people; safety is somewhat a concern
-never in the year i've been here has the gate worked well; always problems. i complain, but they don't seem to address what i ask them (my apt. shows up as two different numbers in the system...very confusing for guests)
-interior definitely shows aging and repeated attempts to cover it up; absolutely nothing in here seems to have been replaced in decades; all sorts of little damage (water damage under sink, linoleum coming up, etc.)
-thin walls; you can hear absolutely everything...good thing no one tends to complain
