Pecan Grove Apartments
AVERAGE RATING

I lived here from March 2004 until May 2005 and liked the place. When I was activated and sent to Iraq I was actually gone from May 2004 until March 2005, so I only really lived there for a brief time. The front office was great about me pre-dating a series of checks and they were very understanding about my deployment. The cost for these apartments is very cheap for the location. Most of the neighbors are students or working class folks and the complex seemed safe. The laundry room needs to be kept more clean and the pool is small, but still not bad. The carpets were not the newest or most clean and you could tell the complex was somewhat dated. The apartment next to mine had some shady people living in it. They were gone a lot and often had legal notices and collection notices from state agencies attached to their door. Still, overall I'd recommend the place based on their location and cost. If you travel just a couple of blocks south you'll find the big Triangle apartment development where you'll pay through the nose for a place! Pecan Grove is really a pretty well kept secret. Kind of like a LaQuinta Inn of apartments.
