I have lived here a little over a year and have had no problems. I purposefully searched for a place that I wouldn't have to move after my lease was up, and here I am resigned for another.

There are the occasional bugs, but who doesn't get those in Austin' It's never been a problem for me, and I've never participated in the bug services they do here about every 3-4 months.

The husband and wife who run the place couldn't be sweeter. They've worked really hard to find maintenance (even still doing most of it themselves) staff that are good enough to keep up and do a good job. It is an older complex, so issues come from that...but I love it here. Huge affordable bedroom for a great part of town.

There is a downside, though. Due to the fact that it's just them managing the place - they are a bit strict on some things in my opinion. In my want to be permanent for a few years in one place in Austin, I was hoping to get to paint. They have outrageous deposit requirements to be able to do that. Also, their pet deposits are a little outrageous, also.

The biggest headache I have is the laundry facility. It is a small complex, but these tiny washers don't really cut it. Plus, they are broken a lot of the time.

I said when I moved in that I was planning on never moving again until some life event forced my hand, and I still hold by that. This is a great place to live!
