OLD APARTMENT COMPLEX:
I lived at Pinto Creek from July of 2002 until June of 2003. The thing that hit me the most (I should have known this) was that the apartments were just plain OLD. My air conditioner had to be fixed 3 times while I was there, the back sliding door was broken (permanently), and the ceiling fan in the living room was wobbly (about to fall off the ceiling). Any time I would ask them to fix a problem, it took at least 1 week if it was fixed (alot of times they didn't even come to fix it (i.e. back door and ceiling fan).
SHADY RESIDENTS:
Well, for one thing there was a murder in the apartment complex in 2003...let's not even get into the theft issues. The cops were there at least once every two weeks (in full force). And then this lady moved in downstairs that had all kinds of problems. She had three little kids, her mother, and had a boyfriend who constantly beat her (the cops came all the time), in a little 2-2. She called the cops on us 4 times for absolutely no reason (the cops hated her and stopped comming after a while).
MANAGEMENT BAD:
The management at Pinto Creek is Sub-Par. Anyone who has signed a lease there also knows that they try to play games with you. They will tell you they have a place for you, and at the last minute they change your apartment (a layout you don't like), or say they've never heard of you. Very strict on just about everything too.
