Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007

I am not a person that often rates anything...but in trying to find an apartment...ratings do help...We moved in to our apt in July of 2006 and our lease is up this coming July...

The apt is an ok place for a year or short term wise...but for longer then that...I would have to say no...When we first moved in to the apt the carpeting was messed up where you would step on a nail if not looking for it...the flooring in the restroom was crappy because there was too much caulk.

The maintenance calls are answered pretty fast...and they actually do what they are suppose to.

Our neighbors always had trash outside their door for WEEKS at a time even after calling the office they said they would leave them a note...but the neighbors could careless and still left trash out for long periods of time...on top of that there is always dog poop on the side walk and in the grass...no one ever picks up after their animals.

The office staff is always closing the office or is never there and don't return phone calls...on top of that my boyfriend and I moved in with a roommate and in time we wanted to move to a different apartment. Well, Pinto Creek wasn't working with us at all. They wanted us to have to pay a transfer fee of $200.00, put an additional $200.00 deposit, and all kinds of other stuff...stupid! Well, so our lease is going to be up pretty soon..and my boyfriend and I wanted to get a 1/1...figured we would try it for another six months...we call the apt manager and she tells us we can take one in June, pay all kinds of fees or wait until July but if we did that they couldn't promise us a place to stay and we would be out of luck until one came available.

We lived off of Cromwell Circle and didn't have a problem with parking...the person who lived under us got broken into a few months after we lived there...other then that we didn't have any problems with theft.

I am typing this at work and can't think of anything else...over all, I recommend it temporarily but not long term.

Oh, and the pool is always dirty during the summer...there is no lighting for it at night...the fitness area they said was being redone before we moved in and was suppose to be fixed BEFORE we moved in...well, six months after we moved in it was done, but the equipment looked like it was purchased off of Craigslist or something...it wasn't good at all...also, the lighting on the street could be better...our lights have been out ever since we have lived there. There are always car alarms going off in the middle of the night...sirens are always being heard all hours of the day...Now, I think that is it...lol...Pet deposit is $400.00 dollars...now I am done...lol
