going downhill apparently...

When I first moved in here, it actually wasn't that bad. Most of the apartments in the Riverside area are pretty shady, but this place was tolerable. The covered parking is nice, and there's always plenty of parking. At first, the place was well-kept and maintained.
However, in the past few months, that's changed dramatically. The laundry rooms are a disaster, maintenance is becoming an issue, and the grass isn't even being cut anymore. To top it all off, the company that owns Pinto Creek (American Housing Foundation) has gone bankrupt, and the company's owner just committed suicide. Since then, getting an answer out of the office about the conditions of the complex has become an exercise in futility. It *was* a good deal when I moved in, but now, I would not recommend Pinto Creek due to the current instability. I will not be renewing my lease, for obvious reasons. If you decide to rent here, wait until the bankruptcy is resolved and some order returns to this place.
