This has been the worst apartment I have ever lived in. The entire year they have been remodeling the exterior of this hell hole, leaving the inside rank and cracking. They did this to occupied apartments and it was dangerous to leave the apartment with nothing short of a hard hat and a nail. I felt the rent was low enough to not care, however. The rent may be low but the staff will nickel and dime you to the very last penny.

The Gates are a huge hassel, there is no code and I have sat 10 min in a line of cars when it was stuck.

They have a very pet "un-friendly" policy. Try $100 fine per animal, a removal clause stating that if it is there, they can come and take it. To keep it, factor in $150 deposit and a one time fee of $250 and monthly pet rent is $10.

Try and sneak in your animal and you are looking at $510 plus your rent and high utilities.

They justify raising rates based on the outward appearance, but it is the inside that will drive you to depression.

Staff seems like they get a bonus or commission based on how many fees they tack on.
