BRIDGE HOLLOW-A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE!!

I live right next to Point South in Bridge Hollow, they are under the same management. My experience has been very positive. The residents are mostly students, it's VERY quiet, clean, there is ALWAYS parking and my maintanance requests have been fixed within 24 hours. The neighborhood is pretty sketchy and there have been shootings across the street, but the securitas (apartment security guards) are always guarding the gate and I see them walking around when it's dark. The staff, who all live on site, are very friendly and polite and know my name and my apartment number. Furthermore, the rent is SUPER cheap and the apartments are spacious, the appliances are a little bit old but there's no deposit fee so who cares. The only drawback is that there are only two windows in my apartments and not a lot of natural light filters in. Other than that, it's a great place to live!

This review was definitely done by one of the staff members. No one in their right mind would think that this place is even close to inhabitable. The management team is like a troupe of ruthless dictators, and the buildings are dilapidated. There have been car windows smashed right in front of my window, where were the securitas then? The management has already robbed us blind with hidden pet deposits and unreasonable late fees. I am afraid of what they will try to weasel out of us when we move. APARTMENT HUNTERS!!: DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO THIS RATING...IT IS SOME ONE FROM MANAGEMENT!!

100% agree with ramtha777. I was jumped in the complex and passed out on the stairs for the NIGHT, where was securitas? Another time I called securitas for suspicious behavior and said they were on the way, but never showed. Two hours later I called them back to check the status and they said to just call police. In addition... I was also slapped with over $600 in "damages" that were nothing more than normal wear and tear upon moving out. Even after I paid professionals to come in and clean/fix anything wrong and was assured by them that they were 100% positive I would get my deposit back. They will then make threats about damaging your credit and will hang up on you when you call to protest.

This is one of the girls that works there, or one of there friends. Being that any resident is allowed to post, they can post all the lies they want.

I knew after reading the first few sentences that yes, indeed this review was definitely done by a staff member or a friend of a staff member. I can read between the lines and am very good at it. My only advice to anyone who is going to rent from Bridge Hollow/Point South... is to document EVERYTHING that is wrong w/ your apartment. I know it will take time but you have to have your 'proof' incase you end up going to court. And MOST importantly.. take pictures.. LOTS of pictures. Read up on your tenant laws and contact the Austin Tenant Council w/ any questions. They have a great website filled with lots of info. Last but not least, put everything in writing.. you'll thank me later for that. Remember, if it's not written.. it was never said. SAVE all your conversations and maintance slips and everything they leave on your door. Make yourself an apartment folder. It's the wise thing to do. Best of luck if you do rent there. I've had nothing but problems but there has been one staff member who has ALWAYS been so polite and that is Daylyn. Everyone else has been very rude.
