The place is cheap, but keep in mind that the surrounding apartment complexes rent for about $150 less a month. The location is a very affordable one, which also means that it can be pretty seedy. If you enjoy watching police cruisers patrol across the fence 24/7, then this is the place for you!

On site Management team did not review my application properly. As a result of their negligence, I was forced to pay a hefty pet deposit eight months into the lease with only one month's notice. My impression of the management team is that they are incompetent, juvenile and seem very inexperienced. Their overall tone is robotic. They can't handle individual situations because that requires independent thought. They adhere firmly to protocol and leave human judgment to the wind. If you would rather deal with corporate machines than people, this is the place for you!

The owner of the complex remains a mystery to me, but I suspect that it is more of a corporate enterprise then a residential complex. I have begun to wonder whether or not my rent money is being invested in local interests.

Although business is business and apartment complexes are no exception, I feel compelled to point out that at Bridge Hollows/Point South there is no semblance of community. They treat residents like criminals and act as if they are doing us a great favor by letting us live in this mediocre complex.

The maintenance team, on the other hand, is very polite and helpful. Repairs are always made in a timely manner. The small amount of landscaping is kept neat, but the beds of annuals are always a little sickly looking. The pool at Bridge Hollows is right in front of the office.

As far as the appearance of the apartment goes.... Two windows, slanted floor, old appliances, small cave-like kitchen/bathroom, and a view of the dumpster. One window is quite large but only a very small portion of it opens to let in air. The bedroom desperately needs an overhead fan since there's not enough ventilation from the one tiny window. Roof leakage has been a significant problem this year and there is visible water damage.

The Point South Apartments and its management company have been members of the Austin Apartment Association, Texas Apartment Association and the National Apartment Association for over 20 years. It has been our experience that very often negative comments posted on this website are by residents who have been evicted for nonpayment of rent or other lease violations, or who have never actually lived on the property, or by competitors. A disgruntled resident can post negative comments as a form of retaliation against management. It should be made clear that most of these negative comments are grossly exaggerated or simply untrue. Be cautious in assuming the truthfulness of postings by anonymous persons who refuse to disclose their identity. We are proud of our property and of the excellent relationships that we have with many of our residents. We recommend that visiting with current residents onsite is a far more reliable method of obtaining third-party opinions about our apartment community and its management. ok, while that might be true of SOME properties, yours is actually heinous. i lived there and was a totally decent resident. i saved every note you put on my door and added up OVER $870 IN EXTRA CHARGES by the time my lease ended! for stupid things that i have NEVER been charged for at any other apartment i've lived at!! shoppers, keep shopping. the price seems cheap, but trust me. they get their money out of you.
