I have lived here since 2001 and it used to be a nice CLEAN and well run complex. It is now Section 8* and they won't fix anything, our water bill is almost 60.00 a month and it keeps going up. The water is shut off every other day for whatever reason with no warnings, they raise the rent on us when we renew and its a dump. They opened up 50 apts to the New Orleans evacuees last year and we the full rent payors are suffering for it.The evacuees have destroyed the pool and jacuzzi and tore up the property worse and its not being handled at all. They sit with doors open and party all the time and we dont sleep due to the noise. The insulation sucks, my air conditioner wont even cool my apt down and thers now MOLD in the apt and the staff just don't take care. The rental agent lady Katherine is a mean old hag who is RUDE on the phone and in person. They are only nice when you are a new resident after that forget it. My suggestion go elsewhere if you can. My lease is up in 6 months and Im out of here never to return. The parking lot was full of holes, they just had it "repaved" but it was only in sections not the entire lot, the neighbors have no privacy its like you hear every little thing, its horrible place. Drug deals and thugs are welcome. Good hard working folks run. The rain gutters are falling off the buildings and they left it hanging for 3 months before it fell off on its own. Now the building has rot cause the rain is building up in the seams. Its just nasty. They are applying for new financing so now they are making it appear like they care but they dont.
