water scam From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/26/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008   There seems to be a water scam going on in this complex! Some how, even with their constant repairs (meaning they shut off the water just about ever other day) my monthly bills average $40/m .... even for months I'm away on business. How is it that an apartment that sits empty all month w/o any water running can generate a $40 bill' Add to that the carpet that was to have been replaced, garbage disposal that has never worked, dish washer that actually makes the dishes dirty, a patio that is splitting and causes splinters, a stair rail that is loose, walls that are paper thin, bath tub that doesn't drain, neighbors who allow their children to run free past 10pm, broken down cars taking up valuable spots, an exercise room with NO working equipment, office workers who openly lie, bait and switch on apartments they show verse which apartment they assign you on your lease, maintenance staff that doesn't actually repair things, trash along the back fence, and mail area trash that spills over for days at a time and the Polo Club ranks pretty high on the "Slums" level. I would highly suggest rethinking a move to the Polo Club!
