Since the purchase of Gables Barton Creek by Post, residents have been subjected to numerous inconveniences. "Improvements" to the property brought people who had signed contracts with Gables under constant intrusion and loud noises. No compensation for the loss of privacy and quiet was offered to the former Gables residents and teneants were unable to get out of their leaase without penalty. Management has to be called several times for work orders to be completed. No compensation has been offered to tenants who have damaged personal property as a result of pipes bursting and hot water heater box replacements. Excellent customer service left with Gables management.

I'm sorry to hear that you think improvements are a disadvantage. I'm amazed how you think. I remember living there and the pool never worked right (the Post people fixed that), and the buildings where drab and my water heater kept going out. I would have been happy to have had my water heater fixed while I lived there. The gables people where cool but things where falling apart. Be appreciative that the new owners are taking time to fix things. You would be amazed and how "improvements" would be beneficial. Yes, like anything, there is going to be inconvenience which is short term. If you think improvements are bad, move to east austin and live in a ghetto complex.

I will completely agree with the person posting the review. The post is the most greedy company that I have ever dealt with in my whole life. I will ask anyone to keep away from them as much as possible.
