I just recently moved out of Post Barton Creek and really enjoyed my time there. Moving in I was nervous after reading the reviews but please do not take these to heart as most of them were products of the change from Gables to Post. The office staff was wonderful. This was actually my first renting experience so I had alot of questions for the staff on rent, water, deposits, etc. I think this is due to being my father's daughter who is an attorney. They always answered my questions to the best of their ability even though I am sure I was one of the more annoying residents with all these questions. We took care of our apartment, granted, we had no pets, but we recieved our LARGE deposit back in full (I had little to no established credit at the time of the lease due to my age). The property is always kept up wonderfully. It reminded me of my college years at Southwestern University in Georgetown. We always joked because if you dropped some papers or a leaf dropped off a tree it would be picked up/ raked in less than 24 hours. Similar cleanliness at Post. They staff gets offended if you ever talk about these online reviews and rightfully so as most/ all were "inherited" from past Gables residents unhappy with the way Gables runs their complexes. I have many friends that live in Post Properties in uptown Dallas as well, and none of them have complaints. I would have considered another Post property but there are currently only two in Austin, and neither location fit the needs of my roommates and I. The reason for our move was that we added another roommate and needed a three bedroom. We had to compromise on location between the three of us and both Post properties were too far west for the new roommate. Without that dilemma, we probably would have stayed. I am confident in saying that anyone who rents here will be very happy with their decision.

To elaborate on the stars below:

Parking is not good for guests, but you have a connected garage so no problem for residents.

It is a family enviroment due to the townhome setup so children play outside often.

Maintenance was great. Always fixed within 24 hours, usually 10 minutes after you call!

I looks like you are one of their leasing agents. I can hardly believe that what you said is even close to how terrible they are with their residents when they move out.
