Recently I found an apartment that I really liked at Park Mesa. The "gentleman" that showed me the unit told me that since the units go fast I should put down a $300 dollar deposit to guarantee I have a place. He promised me that half that amount was refundable.

Well two weeks later, my new job offer fell through and I now I have to stay in Houston. I called Post Mesa to request half of my deposit back and they tell me, NONE of it is refundable! The guy completely lied to me. I won't name him outright...I believe karma takes care of jerks like him.

This is just my warning to prospective renters...don't put a depost down unless you 100% sure you are definitely moving in.

I also had a similar situation happen to me! Only I called to let them know I wouldn't be able to move in before they had even processed my application. They told me they would tear up the check and cancel my paperwork. Two days later my check was deposited, and I received nothing but rudeness and a ton of frustration when I called to request a refund. Potential tenants beware of this company!!

I'm sorry if you feel that I lied to you. If I know who you two are, then I remember the situations. In both cases, I had gotten approval to return the full deposits which in turn I told the one of you that my boss would refund your money. When I received an email from you regarding the additional $150 not being refunded, I turned to my boss who had already told me that she was refunding it. When I asked her, she claimed to have never made that response to me which I argued with her that she had. She refused. So in short, I'm sorry that I "lied" to you. That's not how I handle my customers. I have left the company due to reasons such as this. I am a honest and good man. I hope you can forgive me for dissappointing you.
