Final Update (September 2007): I moved out at the end of August as I bought a house. Upon move out, I was hit with bogus charges which I disputed and they were taken off (as far as I know...nobody has ever called me back). Over the three and 1/2 years at The Preserve, I enjoyed it for the most part. During my last year, I definitely noticed a downturn of their level of customer service. Every staff member that I knew when I moved in now gone. There is no name recognition like there was when I first moved in. Nobody knew who I was which was very disappointing. Again, I still never knew who the manager was. However, maintenance still did a great job. The landscaping people they contract out to were getting very lax. Overall, I'm happy to be gone!

Update (November 2006): I have lived here now for over two years. I still think the Preserve is one of the best places that I have lived. However, the great staff that was here when I moved in seems to be disappearing. Kay and Kristen are the only two left. The new people just don't get to know the residents like the old ones did. The manager is non-existent. I've never met her. Maintenance does a great job and are very responsive. The management seems to be messing with rent levels. My first increase was only $10 and my second was $75. Quite a sticker shock. I plan to live here for one more year (term of lease) as I am planning to build a house. That being said, if the house were not in the picture, I might opt to move to another complex.

July 2004: Overall, this is one of the best places I've lived! There have been a couple (minor) maintenance issues that I've had to follow up on, but management has been very responsive and they always follow up to make sure that I am satisfied. My area is pretty quiet and my neighbors are all pretty respectful of each other. Personally, I do think parking could be improved. There are plenty of spots in some areas and not alot in others. It makes me thankful that I have a garage.
