This is NOT the most expensive place on SW Pkwy by far, and it shows. One thing I thought I would get from living this far from UT: no college students. WRONG. Overridden with them, and many are friends with the staff, so if you can manage your way through the sorority/fraternity, you'll do fine to get your maintenance requests serviced. We've all but given up on going to the pool thanks to the Friday-Sunday fraternity that insists on using the pool for their volleyball games. Not a kid-friendly pool, for sure. Don't live on the first floor if you can't stand bugs. But I hear the second and third floors are bug-free. I haven't seen anything outrageous here like some people wrote about. Neighbors are so noisy, (college students and "grown ups"). Kegs drug up three flights of stairs at 11pm. Their friends beating on the stairwell walls and railing when the leave to go out drinking every Thurs-Sunday night. And their stomping shakes the whole building. No respect for car space: car has been keyed once and hit by car doors so many times, it's not worth fixing until I move. Each year the parking spaces get repainted SMALLER! So there's ample parking for MINI's and Vespas. I'm so tired of college students. Austin sucks. One last thing: dollhouse-sized appliances. Don't even think about cooking Thanksgiving dinner in your apartment.

Are we living at the same apartment complex? I have never dealt with any of that stuff... with the exception of the somewhat small parking spaces. I drive a large SUV and sometimes it is a little tricky to keep it within the lines.
